About Us

Since 2003 Penny Lane Dance Academy's classes have been known for being magical and inspirational in the world of dance. With a British Co-owner, the studio has a bright European feel and manages to make each family feel welcomed. It has been said that you can actually recognize a Penny Lane student walk down the street, they are different! They have a spring in their step and a spirit that touches others.

Miss Andi, the creator, built her first Penny Lane in LA where the Sherman Oaks location is home to over 500 students a week, some of them being Hollywood's elite.

We believe in quality classes taught in a very friendly and fun way. We use a British Ballet curriculum designed by the owner Miss Andi. The ballet curriculum is influenced by The Imperial Society For Teachers Of Dance (I.S.T.D) Our classes start for ages 16 months and continue through to age seventeen years.  We are now offering an Adult program.

Our classes are designed to enhance your child's creativity, self-esteem, and are a perfect balance of education and fun.

For over six years, Children's Hospital LA, recognized and adopted the Penny Lane Enrichment Curriculum for its Early Child Development Center.

This has all been accomplished by a strong team of caring and dedicated dance educator's. Teachers are hand -picked by the owner Miss Andi and trained in the Academy's style and curriculum before going on the dance floor. Each teacher is chosen for their ability to both connect with children and for their professional dance background. All of our teachers are professional performers and in addition have a degree in dance/ theatre and or child development.
